I don't want to be harsh, but all I can say is that although you put your heart and soul into writing this book others may not be able to feel the same way. If you write with an engrossing style and have the experiences to make a wrenching and interesting story, the book should be a good read. What should I do about this?

I've just put my 19 month old in his own room and his new "big boy" bed. NB road test?

I am going for my road test in two days, and I'm really nervous. I went through a driving school and the instructor (who is pretty strict and also would tell me if I did something wrong), says that I am a very good driver and that I can handle the car very well. I can parallel park perfectly, but to do it with a tester in the penger seat freaks the hell out of me. im 17, 160, 5'9''. its hard for me to gain weight. i eat everything in sight. i got really serious with workin out 2 years ago. i bench 260, squat 405, clean 220. if i were u i would laod up on calories. go to a GNC they sell weight gainers there that hav 2200 calories per serving. they last a couple of weeks and there like $40-50 so if u want to spend that much, but youll gain weight. also take whey protein and mix it with a teaspoon of creatine within 30 min before/after ur workouts. youll see results after a week trust me. u got a gym memorship, if not then get one and go at least 4 times a week.

What heat element to use for canning?

Hi, I started canning this year. I canned tomatoes, jellies, peaches, meats, etc. so I use both the bath and pressure cooker method. My problem is that I have a smooth top stove and I had to use a stock pot for a bath canner because of the flatter bottom. So I couldn't can only 5 qt per time. This took forever. I will be canning more this year so I need to find a different way. Suggestions have been to buy a cheap electric stove to put in the basement, a portable electric burner, one of those propane burners to go outside. I don't know what would be best as far as convenience and expense. But would like the best all around way. Got Scammed! Do I have a case?

I recently posted my car for sale and recived an response off a guy wanting to trade for his vehicle which was for sale. I was wary at first but was ured in writing that his vehicle was sound and in great condition. It seemed like a fair deal to me. I went to check out his car and took it for a test drive and everythign seemed fine, he said he lost his inspection papers but was 100% positive that it would p (in writing too) and even gave me the money to pay for the inspection. This was on Friday. I had to wait the weekend to get an inspection and took it in this morning (monday). I then found out that the vehicle needed $1500 worth of work on it and did not p the inspection. I got scammed! I wrote to the guy and told him about the problems and he offered to help out with fixing the car. Which i thought was fair. I sent his the information from the mechanic on what needed fixing. As soon as he saw the $1500 price tag he went back on helping me. He told me that it was as is and that i have no chance of getting my vehicle bad and pretty much too bad so sad. I have written proof and a witness to his claim of a fine vechile and his ad saved and printed. I told him that i eitehr wanted him to pay for the car to be fixed or I want my vehcile back. He refused both. I even lowered the $1500 price tag to $600 just to see if we could get this settled. I thought about small claims court but he said they would laugh in my face. I've only had this car 3 days and its falling apart! Do i have a case? What steps can i take to either get my car back or money to fix this piece of junk he gave me? What do I do?

When camping, do you use available technology, or are you a minimalist?

I have a freind, A former Marine, who thinks that himself (and everyone else) should pretty much go camping with nothing but a knife, and make everything they need from pine cones and tree branches. He scoffs at everything even slightly technological, cooks on a flat rock, tries to make us all eat grubs and plant shoots, and sleep in beds made of tree boughs. I have no problem with someone knowing how to do these things, in a survival situation, but I go camping to relax, and spend some quiet time in nature. Sometimes, I take my portable dvd player, or mp3 player to catch up on a movie or two, or listen to some music by myself, in my tent on my sleeping pad. Ok, on sunday I went to this festival in the park and it was really surprisingly cold and the next day I woke up with a little wheeze but nothing serious, but then at the end of school I started coughing and felt feverish. It is possible to cut weight without being on a nutrition plan. You just need to burn that many more calories per workout. Try eating at least 4 times a day but smaller meals. If you don't follow the diet plan you wont cut up as fast as if you did, but you will still get results. Also it depends how quickly you want to get to 190. Following a nutrition plan will always increase the speed of results. If you can't follow every part to a "T" try to incorporate some of the things into your diet, like watching calories, drinking lots of water, and try not to eat something with a lot of carbs prior to bed. Some people say this is a myth but it's true. Carbs are meant to be burned off as energy. If you're sleeping you're body isn't going to use all the carbs and will end up storing the leftovers as fat. Just so you know - when you throw things like that out there when describing yourself, it looks like you're trying to prove something else instead of getting the real answer to whether you should wait or not. Your social status is irrelevant to the question, so are your standards. Some people choose to wait or not wait for different reasons - they want the experience, or they actually love someone, or they just aren't attracted to anyone enough, etc. Doesn't matter. Dorks and idiots get laid too. Put yourself in hypothetical shoes - you will always remember your first, whether it be how good it is, who the person was, or the cirstances you were in. Parents, What Do You Do When You Feel Like Your World Is Crashing Down?

I wish I could advise you on the financial side of things but I can't put myself in your shoes here, however I'm so sorry you're having a tough time. I can only give you very general advice about getting through a majorly hard time. I had a couple of close bereavements a few months ago within the space of 3 weeks of each other, and honestly I felt the same with the world crashing down, obviously completely different but similar feelings of hopelessness. I really think without my son there is every chance I wouldn't be here myself now. He is my little ray of sunshine and no matter hard things in life get, I can look at his face and momentarily forget everything else and realise that no matter what happens, I have him, and life can get as hard as it likes and throw all the sh!t at me it wants to but I've always got something positive about my life and my future. I just suggest you seek the same solace in your child or children. Look into their eyes and shut out the outside world, even if just for a moment. It won't make your problems go away but it'll put it all into perspective. This is just an incredibly hard time but you'll get through it.

I keep getting sick!?

I have been sick every 3-4 weeks for the past year almost. Sinus infections, bronchitis, tonsils swollen to the point where my throat is just about closed (they didn't know what it was), stomache problems (pains and indigestion)...it's just endless. My doctor has taken blood numerous times, throat cultures, and all kinds of stuff.... I just have no idea why I keep getting sick! I am not overweight or unhealthy. Im a 21 year old woman!
