Do you think you should divulge all your dirty past to a potential partner?

I'm asking mostly for myself. I'm 41 yrs old and I have a laundry list of issues that would take too long to discuss. I am not the person I used to be when I was a kid. But do you think when you start a relationship you should go into intricate details about your past? What if that person uses that information against you and forms in their own little mind that since I was very promiscuous as a teen and young adult, I'm a skank till I die? I have 4 teenagers and believe it or not they are all virgins. (ya ya ya I know no way in hell that's true). But I told my boys and my daughter how I was when I was their age. They just tell me that they aren't going to be like me or their father. That's only because in this century virgins are a dying breed. They say it's important to not have secrets. But why would I want to subject myself to an ytical who wants to put my life under a microscope and not once look in the mirror to see his true self?
