Should the death penalty be returned to force in Canadian law?

I am having a debate soon(arguing the affirmative). I have to argue that the death penalty should be brought back to Canada; I need to use the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms to prove my point. Can anyone tell me how the removal of the death penalty contradicts the Canadian Charater of Rights and Freedoms. I need section numbers too, and what it says.
